Air Plant Care

Bright indirect sunlight is what keeps these plants thriving, so place them close to a bright eastern or western facing window. But be careful, direct sunlight can burn the leaves of your plant.

Air Flow

Free flowing air is a big plus to keep these plants happy. Every now and again open up a window and let your plants breathe.

Once a week completely submerge your air plants in water for 30-60 minutes. Afterwards, give them enough time to dry (preferably upside down) with adequate air flow. They can go for extended periods without watering, so don't worry if you need to go away for a week or two! Just make sure you give them a good soak before and after you get back.

Air plants are one of the lowest maintenance plants you can have in your homes — perfect for all of us with a black thumb.
